My puppy goes wild for this

A sprinkling of this beef on top of his food bowl drives my guy wild. This stuff has great ingredients and great appeal. The only thing I'd appreciate is more consistency in the size. I can't really use it well as a treat for rewarding because quite a bit of the beef becomes too small or just dust at the bottom of the bag. My pup still LOVES the dust (like I said it gets him super excited when added to his meal) but not as useful for treating.

Make sure to read the ingredients

Not sure if i got an old batch but the ingredients on Chewy's site list beef as the only ingredient. The bag I received actually contains: beef, mixed tocopherols and green tea. Far cry from being 100% beef.

Great treat

My Maltese loves these dog treats. I love that they are one ingredient and made in the USA. They are also a great topper for her food. She is only 8 lbs so only eats 1/4 cup food twice a day so a couple pieces added to her food is perfect. She always eats them first before the rest of her food. I will buy them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a healthy treat.

Not the Same...

I've been buying Sojos Simply Beef for some time and both my dog and cat love it. However, with my last purchase, I noticed there was a lot of freeze dried fat (the nuggets were mushy and greasy), so I threw out those pieces. I'm very disappointed in the quality this time.

My dog goes nuts for this. Being 14, she's become quite picky with food & doesn't always have an appetite, but I'm able to get her to eat by using this as a topper. I also use it as a bribe to clean her ears & teeth. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is the size of pieces are inconsistent, which isn't a big deal to me but some of the larger ones are hard enough that you can't break them down, and my girl won't eat anything hard anymore.

Dogs love them ... but

About 20% of the bag are tiny pieces that are not usable for training, and I don't put toppers on their food. I guess I could add them to home made treats ... but wish there was a consistent size. Also, don't love the fact that I always seem to find a chunk of freeze dried fat in the bag. Still ... it's a great training treat for the first 80% of the bag.
